Ancient Greek computer reconstructed

In 1901, divers working off the isle of Antikythera, Greece, found the remains of a clocklike mechanism. Dubbed the “Antikythera mechanism”, the device, which is estimated to be more than 2,000 years old, is believed to have been used to calculate positions of the sun and moon in the zodiac on a given date - an astronomical computer.

A reconstructed version of the device has been unveiled in Greece, after new analysis by scientists from London and Sydney suggested it may have been more complex than first thought.
