Unusual lobster found

A fisherman from the US state of Maine caught an unusual specimen in his catch recently: a two-toned lobster, half the normal mottled green colour, and the other half the bright red colour that lobsters normally turn when they have already been cooked.

The extraordinary Mimosa plant reacts with amazing speed to touch or heat stimulus, furling up its leaves to protect itself in literally seconds.
The capability is known as thigmonasty (touch-induced movement). The videos online at the University of Indiana demonstrate the phenomenon.
